Take this opportunity to learn and ask questions about all the new and exciting Programs ASR will have on offer in 2012.

While ASR’s friendly staff answer questions and provide relevant information in relation to all our programs, we will also be undergoing our grading for the relevant 2012 Granville Rage Juniors / ASR development squads.

Under 8′s – 10′s:  8:30am – 9:30am
Under 11′s – 14′s:  9:30am – 10: 30am

New players are asked to wear appropriate training gear including shin pads and outdoor soccer boots. ASR players must wear their ASR gear.  All players must also bring a bottle of water and a ball.

Training will then commence on Monday 20th February 2012

The much anticipated arrival of ASR’s unique youth development program, accredited by Italian club AS ROMA, has resulted in an extremely successful debut season for our young footballers.

We are proud to report that ten of our players from various age groups progressed to Super League teams; two possibly three to Premier League teams and several others joining the SAP (Skills Acquisition Program).

In addition, seven ASR players will also be heading overseas at the end of November to train in Italy, as part of our ongoing talent identification program with AS ROMA.

ASR’s successful holistic-based training program has now been further acknowledged, with the strong Granville and Districts Football Association (GDFA), formally inviting our players to play in the GDFA competition next season.

We have gratefully accepted the offer because playing in the GDFA will deliver our current ASR-trained players a direct pathway to three tiers of youth football; Premier League; Super League and Development League.

ASR Pro Football (ASR) is pleased to announce that it is holding its first Football Skills Clinic for Indigenous Youth at Redfern this week, in conjunction with the National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy (NASCA).

The ASR clinic will be part of NASCA’s four-day “stay on track” diversionary sports program for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander males aged from 11 to 14.

“The NASCA program is an inspiring program aimed at helping local Indigenous youth identify and achieve their goals and aspirations and ASR is excited to be taking part in the program,” Mr Ucchino said.

“Our philosophy at ASR is that we must develop good footballers but at the same time ensure that the young people we teach are aware of their social responsibilities and their overall commitment to the community in general.

We believe the clinic will provide us with the opportunity to pass on this message to the young people participating in the NASCA program.”

The NASCA clinic extends ASR’s ongoing program of corporate social responsibility throughout the community.

ASR runs a weekly program for children with special needs in conjunction with St Michael’s soccer club Baulkham Hills.

Mr Ucchino said ASR and its players and their parents thanked Frank Cozzupoli, Director of Idraft plans Pty Limited for the company’s generous support of ASR’s community projects.
